Service Description

Have you just purchased a sewing machine or know you're receiving one as a gift? It can be daunting learning how it all works....what feet for what, how to change stitches, length & width of stitch, how to put in a zip or do a buttonhole or even sew on a button. So if you're not sure how to use it properly then this is the class for you. Come along to our class and we will show you how to get the best use of it and become more confident. You will learn threading/changing stitch & stitch size/foot & needle changing/buttonholing/buttons) automatic needle threading (if your machine has one)/winding a bobbin, and sewing in a zip. Your machine may not be able to do all of the above, but we'll get you using your machine as proficiently as possible. If you've never sewn before then we can also show you how to stitch straight lines and use the plate guide on your machine, stitch a perfect corner and a curve. Bring along your own machine, accessories and manual, thread (good quality)& a bobbin and we will show you the rest.
