Service Description

This 3 week course is a follow on from our Sewing skills 1 course. In Sewing Skills 1 we covered sewing in zips several ways, sewing buttons on garments using your sewing machine, buttonholes and hem & seam finishing. You do not have to have completed Course 1 to do Course 2 but you do need to be able to thread your machine, sew in straight lines and guide your fabric through the machines. In Sewing Skills 2 you will learn: WEEK 1 - Darts, gathering, pleats & tucks WEEK 2 - Piping & shirring WEEK 3 - Collars & cuffs you will sew samples only of the items above but will help you as a reference when you come across these skills in a sewing pattern. Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. All materials provided as are cake & drinks.
