Weekend Sewing Retreat

Service Description

After the success of our last Sewing Retreat, we have booked a further retreat at the Stirling Court Hotel in Stirling. This hotel is on the University Campus and we will have full use of a dedicated function room for the duration as well as on site leisure facilities and swimming pool. We had a lot of fun at our last retreat and we managed to fill all the spaces. We require an initial £200 deposit to secure your place and the remainder is required 4 weeks in advance of event. (After deposit payment, we are happy for you to pay in instalments up to 12th September when full payment must have been made). Cost: £575 per person This includes 3 nights accommodation, all meals & coffee breaks, sole use of dedicated sewing room, use of our sewing machines/overlocker & irons (if you need one), goody bag and all tuition & advice. Banter, chat & fun are all free!! I think you'll agree this is excellent value for money. We have reserved a few accessible rooms which have walk in showers (in case you struggle to get in and out of a bath). Duration: 3 nights FRIDAY Arrival: 4.30pm – Room allocation & sewing room set up 6.30pm – Drinks at bar 7.30pm – Dinner in restaurant If you have the stamina, you can get ahead with your sewing. The sewing room can be used at any time. SATURDAY Breakfast in Restaurant 7.30am – 8.59am SEWING (Please make sure that the project you bring has already been cut out ready to start work. There will be an extra table or two but there is not enough room for cutting out. Morning Coffee/Tea and Biscuits – served in sewing room 10:30 -11:00 SEWING Buffet Lunch in Restaurant 12noon – 1pm 2 Course Lunch (Soup served to table, main course buffet with a choice of hot and cold items & salad bar) followed by freshly brewed tea and coffee SEWING Afternoon Tea/Coffee and Cake – served in sewing room 15:30 -16:00 SEWING Dinner in Restaurant 7.30pm SUNDAY As Saturday MONDAY Breakfast in Restaurant 7.30am – 8.59am Sewing room must be cleared of our equipment & belongings by 8.30 am DEPARTURE & FAREWELLS Although this itinerary is here as a guide for you, the weekend is your own to decide if you want to do other activities i.e. swimming, go for a walk/into town shopping/chill or just relax and have fun being away from home. We will not make you do anything you don’t fancy apart from turning up for meals on time!! We hope you will be able to join us for lots of fun, sewing, chat & laughter!!
